Ebony Magazine presents The 2007 CIAA Fashion Show
Featuring The Ebony Fashion Fair Models

The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) capped-off its weeklong offering of events with its most treasured treat; the CIAA Fashion Show- Featuring the Ebony Fashion Fair models. This year’s “Glimpse of the World’s Largest Traveling Fashion Show” was one of Saturday’s feature activities held at the Charlotte Convention Center.  

In its fourth year of participation with the CIAA conference tournament, the highly anticipated CIAA Fashion Show was greeted by a host of the CIAA’s most highly regarded dignitaries, presidents and chancellors. This year’s featured CIAA President, Dr. Dianne Boardley Suber of Saint Augustine’s College was honored for her contributions to higher education.  

Not only was the Who’s Who of Black Academia in attendance, the audience was also peppered with celebrities including, renowned celebrity restaurateur and businesswoman B. Smith and Omarosa of NBC’s “The Apprentice.”

“When our fans come to the CIAA Tournament, they enjoy a higher standard of entertainment. The experts at Ebony magazine and Ebony Fashion Fair are credited with throwing world-class events; hands down. We cherish our partnership with Ebony and look forward to more successful years to come,” shares CIAA Commissioner Leon G. Kerry.    

The 2008 CIAA Tournament will be February 25-Mar. 1.
