Ebony Magazine presents The 2005 CIAA Fashion Show
Featuring The Ebony Fashion Fair Models

The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) celebrated its 60 th Men's and 30 th Women's Basketball Tournaments in high style, both on and off the court.   For the second year in a row, Ebony magazine presented the CIAA fashion show.   The sold-out affair featured the gorgeous Ebony Fashion Fair models.   The show was held at the Embassy-Suites RDU in Cary, NC.  


The mini fashion show was one of many activities surrounding the annual tournament.   The show featured selected garments from the best of the best in fashion that has been featured in the world's largest traveling fashion show, The Ebony Fashion Fair, over the past 47 years since its inception.






"The CIAA is proud of what we have been able to accomplish over the past six years as an organization," CIAA Commissioner Leon G. Kerry said. "We have grown our fan base geographically and demographically allowing us to draw more CIAA alums and non-alumni, alike, to the tournament. The growth and marketing of the CIAA is an on-going process and we are working toward making the Charlotte experience bigger and better."



The CIAA looks forward to another repeat performance as the tournament moves to the Queen City for the next three years.    The 2006 tournament is slated for February 27th - March 4.
